About Taxi Ride
Taxi Ride was created in 2008 by Peter Tynan and Gordon Seed both of which are cab drivers in Liverpool.
"Taxi Ride was an idea, I had few years ago, whilst I was sitting around taxi ranks, and thinking about how our job could have been made easier if taxi drivers had readily information about local events, instead of having to drive around in circles trying to find the right location"“One good idea leads to another, I decided to team up with Gordon Seed, another fellow cab driver, who also felt frustration of driving passengers, without knowing exactly where local events were situated. We decided to create a website which will enable cab drivers to get information about current happenings in the area. Hence, the birth of Taxi Ride Project.”
We hope that Taxi Ride website will become the hub of information for our fellow taxi drivers, thanks to the growing popularity of broadband and smart phones. Taxi Ride web users will now have access to the latest information about ongoing and upcoming events in different areas of Merseyside.
