Freelance Projects

Typically these are projects with a specific deliverable. They may involve update meetings, but the work is carried out in my time rather than sitting in your office.

My billing structure depends on the project size, but I always charge a fixed price rather than hourly rates. Typically, projects follow one of the following structures

  3. Up-front payment (40%)
  4. Project Development
  5. Client Review and test
  6. Amends (if any)
  7. Release
  8. Final Payment (60%)

Fran the Contractor/Consultant

As contractor or consultant, I join you in your office and work full time directly with you. I am happy to work on an hourly or day rate.

As I'm based in Chester, I limit my contracts to within an hours commute. E.g. Chester (obviously), North Wales, Wirral, Liverpool, Runcorn, Warrington, Altrincham, Outer Manchester, Frodsham, Crewe, Nantwich, Wrexham.

Collaboration

I already join forces with many other small companies. Typically I provide "back end" development (server-side coding and databases) while they provide the design and HTML. If you have a need or an idea I'm always listening....eagerly.
